Iron (Fe) is an essential micronutrient for optimum growth and yield of crop. In calcareous soils availability Fe low, to correct deficient soil application Chelated Fe-EDTA often recommended avoid the possible nutritional disorder due antagonistic effect with other cationic micronutrients. The present study was initiated objective evaluate response soybean crop foliar iron. experiment carried out at Agricultural Research Station, Kasbe Digraj, Dist: Sangli (MS) during kharif 2018-19. experimental alkaline, calcareous, clay in texture, low available nitrogen, phosphorus, very high potassium laid randomized block design eight treatments three replications. comprised common NPK fertilizers conjunction 10 t FYM ha-1, FeSO4 @ 20 kg ha-1 without 0.2 per cent spray chelated Fe. results revealed that pH electrical conductivity did not differ different however, organic carbon content found be slightly improved over control. free calcium carbonate percentage also statistically non-significant although it slight decline from initial value iron nutrition treatments. General dose +Soil + two sprays 30 50 DAS (T8) recorded significantly higher N, P DTPA control treatment whereas, K, Zn, Mn Cu were along manure. Significantly highest total uptake P, Fe, Mn, Zn by exhibited T8 which either equivalent or par GRDF 0.2% (T7). general, all context nutrient grain (2493 ), straw (3779 ) closely followed T7.
